Alvin Hilario Matias, Jr., born on November 10, 2019, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. He is survived by his loving parents, Mamie and Alvin Matias; sisters, Kayla, Karmen, Kiera, and Khloe; grandmothers, Ghania (Toine) Hallie and Theresa (Wendell) Bond; grandfathers, Juan Matias and Marshall Jenkins (Florence); uncles, Juan (Ivy) Jarvis, Julio Lopez, John (Nicole) Long, Solomon Bond, Anthony Moore, Earl (Burke) Moore, and Howard (Dianna) Jenkins; aunts, Kendall Jenkins, Raven Matias, Maria Matias, Jean Moore, Patricia (Leroy) Burton, Cynthia (Bobby) Oliver, and Bernadette Deas; great-grandmother, Mamie Deas; great-grandfathers, Earl William Moore (Delphine) and Juan Matias; great-great aunts, Norma Fauntleroy and Ersalla Anderson; great uncle, Hakim Gaither; great cousin, Michelle (Jevon) Augustus; and many other loving family members. The family will receive friends Monday, November 25, from 1 pm to 2 pm at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd., N. Chesterfield, VA. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow the ceremony at Centralia Cemetery, 10000 Hopkins Rd., N. Chesterfield, VA.
