  1. Mr. Setien your light will forever shine in the hearts of the students at George Wythe High School

  2. Marty Wade says:

Sir, you will be remembered fondly by so many of the students from George Wythe High School. I can still remember you handing me my diploma. Praying for your family and friends… may they find strength and comfort in their memories of you.

  3. I remember him from the earliest days of George Wythe as our assistant principal. So visible among the students and so well liked. Sincere condolences to his family.

  4. As a student at George Wythe, I was in awe of him. As an adult I got to thank him for making GWHS such a learning, fun place. He will be remembered in all our hearts as a faithful educator and sports fan for the Bulldogs. Go Red, go Blue, go White, fight, fight. Diana Woodward Schlein, class of 1969.

  5. My deepest condolences to the Setien Family. Mr. Setien was my principal at George Wythe High (Class of ’75) and he ruled with an iron fist. But now as an adult and was an educator I can understand why and appreciate it.
Rest well Mr. Setien, job well done
