I first met Anna 2 years ago when I started working at GRTC. She immediately accepting and we became friend. She was a friendly and kind person that was loved by so many. She will be highly missed. Still hard to comprehend the loss. Prayers and condolences to her family.

Thank you Lord for giving me such a wonderful true friend. She and I always talked about family and the love for our homeland. I’ve always told her that she was more Filipino than Hawaiian. I even remember my last conversation with her…she wanted me to cook her some chicken adobo with rice! You will be terribly missed by all, especially by me! Till we meet again sis!

  4. This is how God showed His love among us, He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him. 1 John 4:9
My prayers are with the family Of “Cita”, that God will send the comforter to heal your hearts while missing Daughter, Mother and Sister…. all that God allowed her to be in our lives.

  5. Funny, but Ana was my supervisor at Virginia Rides. This was my first time working in para transit. She was a hard and dedicated dispatcher/supervisor whom showed a lot of love to the drivers. She was always eating and one day I asked her where is the food going? I encouraged Ana to apply to become a supervisor at GRTC when there was an opening. She got the job and became one of the family. I too am a supervisor at GRTC for many years and it was my honor to train and work with Anicita. In the mornings Ana would be warming up her breakfast while working in the radio room. All of a sudden we will be smelling something burning in the dispatcher office and saying , “Oh it’s just Ana burning something”. Her love for people was real! She told me I need my nails done bad. I was like what, my nails look good to me. Following that conversation, Ana was part of my 60th Birthday celebration. She gave me a gift certificate to get a medicure & pedicure. She was that type of person.
I visited Ana this past Christmas with Joy & Gail from GRTC because we wanted to brighten her day. She was eating (LOL) and looking pretty good! She opened her gifts and with that big smile she thanked us. We told her it was our pleasure to spend time with her and we are here if or when she needs us. With prayerful tears, I think God for allowing Ana and I to cross path. R.I.P. my friend. You will always have a place in my heart… Supervisor Mary Johnson
