Obituary

Anna May Piacentini, 90, of Richmond, VA passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, May 18, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Herman Piacentini; parents, William Lee Jones, Sr. and Anna Mary Haigas Jones; son, Arthur Richard Piacentini; and siblings, Louis John, Elmer Charles, Sr., Charles William, Isabelle Jane, Russell Lee, William Lee, Jr., Rudolph John, and Richard John. Anna is survived by daughters, Anna Marie Dunford (Charles) and Bridget Ann Meador (Keith); grandchildren, Aimee Read (Scott), Emilee Bailey (Douglas), Chad Dunford (Latasha), Laura Doustout (Brian), and Kurtis Meador (Serena); great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Hannah, Madeline, Austin, and Jordyn Read, Phoenix James and Emory Rose Dunford, and Alexis Cheyenne, Parker Xavier, and Mia Paige Bailey; and sister, Mary Dorothy Jones Jackson. A visitation will be held from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm with her funeral service starting at 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 23 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd., N. Chesterfield, VA 23234. Interment to follow at Dale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association,  https://www.alz.org/
