Obituary

Robb, Anne Jenkins, 60, of Chesterfield, a compassionate, kind, and Christian woman, departed this life on Monday, September 20, 2010, and ascended to Heaven. She is survived by her devoted husband, Earl T. Robb; loving daughter, Taylor Anne Robb; parents, Latane and Irma Jenkins; sister, Carol Jenkins; niece, Brooke Terrell; and nephew, Ian Gilliam. In addition to her immediate family, Anne enjoyed life and the comfort of many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Anne was a faithful member of Iron Bridge Baptist Church. She retired from state government following 30 years of service in several agencies. She wanted to thank the medical staff at the MCV Massey Cancer Center and the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Philadelphia for their caring and professional support. They made the journey a little more bearable. The family will receive friends 5 to 8 pm Wednesday (today) at Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Road (Rte. 10). Her funeral service is scheduled for 11 am Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
