Obituary

Anthony “Tony” Rowe, 62, of North Chesterfield, VA, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. He was born on November 15, 1962, Fort Jackson, SC, to the late John Leslie Minter Rowe, Jr., and Ottavina Berno.
He is survived by his beloved wife of eight years, Becky Lee Rowe, sons John Michael Rowe (Margo Schroyer) and Steven Curtis Rowe (Cari Kowalsky); step children Bradley Crist (Courtney Crist) and Jessica Matthews (Todd Matthews); grandchildren Riley, Easton, Hunter, Slayden, Cashton (Rowe), and Ian (McClung), and Leilah, Lorelei (Crist), and Wesley, Worth (Matthews); his sister, Lucy Rowe. And numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Tony loved being with his boys, whether it was hunting, fishing, boating or playing softball. He thoroughly enjoyed being at the ball field, whether playing or watching, he enjoyed being surrounded by his softball family. Tony was also known as “TRock” and was an avid fitness buff, once bench pressing 600 lbs. Tony’s other hobbies included woodworking, self-taught, which he became very passionate about; singing karaoke at his local Moose Lodge, 1980; and spending quality time with his family and friends. Tony will genuinely be missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, North Chesterfield, VA 23234. Viewing from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, service at 6:00 PM, visitation till 9:00 PM.
