Lee; her daughter Stephanie Riccardino (Bill); grandchildren Gianna and Charles; and brother Steven Clark (Mary) and was preceded in death by her mother Mary Clark and her father Lawrence Clark. April and I met in 1994 and instantly became friends over a game of pool very early in the morning. We became best friends not long after that first meeting. She was a beautiful soul, inside and out. We shared much laughter and tears through the years. A shared love of Hallmark Movies (especially the Christmas ones), as well as cowboys. rodeos and horses too! Oh, and Tea! How we loved going to tea! We both loved the mountains and the clear nights but mostly our children and how proud of them we always were. She was so very excited to become a grandmother as well, she couldn’t wait to be able to spend more time with her grandchildren and become a part of their lives. She loved and adored Jim and everything adding his life to hers brought her!

I’ll miss our long talks and her company the most! She was the sister I never had and she taught me so very much over our years of friendship. My heart is broken for the loss of April.

I love you girlfriend! I miss you too! Julie

April, such a sweet and loving soul. We became friends at Lake Arrowhead and later sister-in-laws. You were always such a giving person. When you gave birth to sweet Stephanie she lit up not only your life but all who were blessed to know her and you. April, you will be missed by so many; your spirit and memories will last forever in our hearts. May you Rest In Peace…❤️

    1. April and I met at work 25 years ago at Sun Pacific. We soon became good friends and spent many nights at her house after work drinking out beloved Champagne or her favorite Coors Light. We had some great times for many years that I will always cherish. April was a great person, friend, wife, mother and daughter. She will be missed by all. Fly with the angels Miss April! Until we meet again ❤️❤️

  3. April’s family and my family lived in the same neighborhood in Downey. April used to kid-sit me, and later I was asked to babysit Stephanie. Our parents were good friends and we enjoyed spending time together in Downey and Lake Arrowhead. April was always so nice to me, very patient and kind. I was so happy to reconnect with her on Facebook, and enjoyed commenting on each other’s posts. I am so sad about her passing, but she will live forever in our memories. XOXO

  4. April and I grew up together through our experiences at Lake Arrowhead. We (and her family) were inseparable. So many wonderful memories. Listening to Bill Cosby records, late night talks, water skiing, horseback riding, hanging out at the village miniature golf and so much more. She was such a good friend to me. April was always kind and considerate. Loving and trustworthy. She could keep a secret. She was dedicated to her family and friends. A truly wonderful human being who will be missed, yet will always be a part of those she loved and loved her.
Stephanie and Jim; as long as I have known April, I never saw her more happy than when the two of you entered and enriched her life. She loved you both so much and I believe she knew how much she was loved. That is a small comfort to me since to love deeply and to be loved is, after all, what matters most.

April and I met when we were in the same kindergarten class. We attended elementary school together until 4th grade when they moved to Downey. Our parents were friends, and I do remember her big brother, Steve. April was active. Mary and Larry provided tins of fun things for April and Steve. I remember being envious that April could do one-arm cartwheels, but when she broke her arm, I stopped competing with her….we all signed her cast! After many, many year we reunited with other classmates at Downtown Disney only a few years ago. I saw the beautiful photo of her just now on FB, and started to write to complement here, but then saw that she had passed. Fly with the angels my dear friend. So glad we got to see each other one last time. I love you. ❤
