Obituary

Barbara Hunter, 78, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 11, 2020. She is survived by her children, Kimberly Lemite (Gregory), Rozlyn Lance (Harrison), and Christopher Hunter (Kimberly), brother, Ernest McCracken; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Ruviel McCracken; son, Ronald Hunter; and husband, Abraham Hunter. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 10:00 a.m at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rt. 10). Interment will be at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Rd., Amelia Courthouse, Va. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
