Obituary

Bernice Watson Fenner, 88, of Chesterfield, VA, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 18, 2023. Bernice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter Thomas Fenner, Jr.; mother, Laura Nell Watson; father, Mearl Gregory Watson; two brothers, Waverly G. Watson, Curtis A. Watson. She is survived by her two daughters, Christine F. Wilburn, Dolores F. Willis (Kirk); three grandsons, Robert Wilburn (Amber), Brad Wilburn (Kristin), Colton Willis; two granddaughters, Heather Cordova (Isaac), Ashleigh Willis; two great-granddaughters, Maddison Wilburn, Paisley Wilburn; three great-grandsons, Parker Wilburn, Andrew Cordova, Marshall Cordova; three sisters, Grace L. Revels (Archie), Ruth Ann Wootton, Joyce Marie Crook. Bernice retired from Ukrops after many years. Following retirement she enjoyed crafting, working with ceramics, sewing, putting jigsaw puzzles together, her small dogs, going out with her sisters, and spending time with family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, June 26, 2023, at Dale Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Children’s Hospital of Richmond.
