Obituary

Betty Jo Bohannon Garnett Deaver, 83, of N. Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 31, 2020. She is survived by her daughter, Vicky Garnett Brady; step-children, Patricia Ann Stells and James (Ann) E. Deaver, Jr.; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 nephews; 1 niece; and many loving great nieces and nephews. Betty Jo was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Earl Deaver, Sr.; son, Todd Garnett; siblings, Glenna Huzek and Whitney Bohannon; and parents, Josephine and James Ellis Bohannon, Jr. The family will receive friends from 3 pm to 5 pm on Friday, August 7th at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rte. 10). A graveside service will be held 10 am on Saturday, August 8th at Dale Memorial Park. The family respectfully requests that masks be worn if you plan to attend. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to Friendship Baptist Church, 5200 Newby”™s Bridge Rd. Chesterfield, VA 23832.
