Obituary
Bobby Dodd, 74, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 22, 2018, following a brief illness. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Dottie Dodd; children, Steven Dodd (Jody) and Susan O’Keefe (Kevin); grandsons, Jackson, Xander, Connor, Dillon, Ryan, Brodie, Caleb, and Seth; his sister, Ann Fines (Alvin); and special sister-in-law, Thelma Hitt. Bobby served as deacon and a choir member for many years at God’s Storehouse Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandsons. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018, at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, 5930 Centralia Rd., N. Chesterfield. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. that evening at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rt. 10), where his celebration of life service will follow at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to God’s Storehouse Baptist Church, 5007 Jessup Rd., N. Chesterfield, VA 23234.

I have lost a business acquaintance and a wonderful friend. Bobby always had a cheerful spin on any issue and I admired his upbeat personality.Can’t wait to see him in Heaven a share a bottle of Jack Daniels bourbon.
