Obituary

Brett Gilliam Jones, 39, of Chesterfield went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 16, 2021. He is preceded in death by his mother, Martha Gilliam Jones. He is survived by his son, Crayton Gilliam Jones; father, Carl Emanuel Jones, Jr.; his sister, Jessika Paige Lamparillo; his brother, Brandan Michael Jones; nephew, Michael Paul Lamparillo; niece, Makenzie Ann Jones; mother of his son, Hanah Cobb and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Brett was a devoted, loving father who loved his music and cherished his family. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 29, 2021 for memorial gathering from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Morrissett Life Celebration Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. His memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Final rest will be at a later date alongside his mother in Pound, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Good Samaritan Ministries, 2307 Hull Street, Richmond, VA 23224.

  1. I am so sad to hear about your loss. I got to know Brett a very long time ago. He is such a good friend to me and to all who knew him. He will never be forgotten. I am wishing the entire family peace and comfort at this time.
