Obituary

Bruce Atkins passed on December 25, 2022, surrounded by family.

Bruce is preceded in death by his parents, Linwood and Annie Atkins; and brothers, James Atkins, Edward Atkins, Richard Atkins.

Bruce was an avid bass fisher and Chevy enthusiast. He was also a fan of NASCAR and drag racing. Bruce enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife Kathy; daughter Lauren Brown; grandson, Colin Brown; sister, Millie Bilotta; brothers, Larry Atkins (Brenda), Gary Atkins, and Bobby Atkins (Debbie); sister-in-law Louise Atkins; friend who is like a son, George St. John; dear friends, Dennis and Brenda Buck and a host of nieces and nephews who are too numerous to list.

A memorial service will be held on January 7, 2023, at Walthall Baptist church located at 14001 Woods Edge Road South Chesterfield Va. 23834 starting at 1 p.m. A reception will be held after the service at the church fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Lewy body organization

    The few times we met in our street, he always had kind words and a strong handshake.
