    SAFELY HOMEI am home in Heaven, dear ones: Oh, so happy and so bright! There is perfect joy and beauty In this everlasting light. All the pain and grief is over. Every restless tossing passed; I am now at peace forever, Safely home in Heaven at last. Did you wonder I so calmly Trod the valley of the shade? Oh! but Jesus’ love illumined Every dark and fearful glade. And He came Himself to meet me In that way so hard to tread;
    And with Jesus’ arm to lean on, Could I have one doubt or dread?
    Then you must not grieve so sorely, For I love you dearly still:
    Try to look beyond earth’s shadows. Pray to trust our Father’s Will.
    There is work still waiting for you, So you must not idly Stand;
    Do it now, while life remaineth- You shall rest in Jesus land.
    When that work is all completed, He will gently call you Home;
    Oh, the rapture of that meeting, Oh the joy to see you come!

    Coyle was and will always be my brother rat. We were never best of friends by any means, but shared many a laugh through the years. I recently was able to speak to him every so often on FB, and he cracked me up with laughter everytime. He was one of a kind…always had something fun to say or do. My thoughts are with him and his entire family. – Iron Clad India bro…Class of 2000

    Pat was a great friend at VMI. We were both in India Company our Rat year and we dyked in the same room. He was always there to help with a laugh and keep the rest of us positive. He will be sorely missed! God Bless you, Pat!

  5. To Jr, Margo and all of the family:We are in total shock! Hard to beleive that all the hard times Patrick went through, that he would die in his sleep so young.
    We know this has to be so hard for you to accept. May the good God comfort and bless all of the family at this very sad time. Love to everyone from Mary and Jimmy
