Obituary

Carol Bottoms “Sis” Thomas passed away December 29, 2023. She was born March 28, 1939 to Arol Bottoms and Helen (Lewis) Bottoms. She was a former employee of M&Q Plastics. Later in life, she became a mother and grandmother and cherished her time with her family. She was affectionately known as “Granny.”

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Arol and Helen Bottoms; siblings, Leslie Bottoms, James Bottoms, Patricia Vaughan, Virginia Brown, and Buck Bottoms; and grandson, Joey Hearn.

Left to cherish her memory include her husband, Stuart Thomas; children, Chris Thomas (Cindy), Sandra Payne (Keith), and Kevin Thomas (Jennifer Mahoney); grandchildren, Kyle Payne, Kirk Payne, Zachary Thomas; brother, Thomas Bottoms (Rachel); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held from 6pm-8pm on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, N. Chesterfield.

A graveside service will be held at 11am on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Park in Chester.
