Obituary

Carolyn Parrish Ingram, 79, of North Chesterfield, VA joined her husband, Earl Thomas Ingram, III in eternal rest with the Lord on Friday, March 13, 2026. She was born on May 21, 1946 in Richmond, Virginia to the late Isham Parrish and Virginia Ellis.

She is survived by her beloved children, Earl Thomas Ingram, IV (Angela) and Beth Kenney (Brian); grandchildren: Emily Drayer (Joseph), Alex Smith, Lydia Ingram (Cody), Daniel Smith, Megan Ingram, Julia Ingram, and Thomas Ingram; great grandchildren: Elijah, Jonah, Josephine, Taylor, and Carol Jane; her sister, Linda Parrish Blain; step-sister, Jenny Brizendine (Danny); and a host of other beloved family members.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Earl T. Ingram III, her parents, Isham Parrish and Virginia Ellis, as well as her stepparents, Elizabeth Parrish and Joe Ellis.

In addition to being a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother; Carolyn was a retired loan officer and bank teller with Virginia Credit Union and the former Signet Bank. Carolyn loved her family with all her heart and was often found behind the scenes preparing food or finding just the right item for someone she loved. She was also a wonderful cat mommy and loved to dote on her fur babies.

A celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held at 2pm on Friday April 3, 2026 at Bon Air Baptist Church with reception following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite animal charity.
