Godsey, Cassie Michelle, 34, of Midlothian, Va., lost her battle with addiction, freeing her spirit on January 22, 2021. Heartfelt condolences to Cassie’s family and loved ones. She was once considered a member of our family while she was dating my brother. Cassie was always wonderful with my kids and I appreciated that. She somehow lost her way in life when she still had so much to live. I’d hoped she was on the road to recovery. Sadly, that was not the case. Rest easy!

Beautiful smile and soul; you will be missed, Cassie! “All I know, she sang a little while and then flew on.”
