  3. TO THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF CHARLES C SAWTELLE, JR.,
I WISH TO LET YOU KNOW YOU ARE ALL IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS.
MR. SAWTELLE AS I CALLED HIM WAS ONE OF THE BEST HUMAN BEINGS AND ABSOLUTELY THE BEST BOSS I EVER HAD. I WAS 18 YEARS OLD AND IT WAS 1967, NEWLY MARRIED AND WAS HIRED AS HIS SECRETARY. HE HAD SO MUCH PATIENCE WITH ME AND ALWAYS TREATED ME WITH THE UTMOST KINDNESS AND RESPECT. I WAS A LUCKY YOUNG GIRL TO HAVE BEEN HIRED AND ASSIGNED TO HIM. WE WERE ABLE TO TOUCH BASE WITH EACH OTHER IN LATER YEARS. I MET LAUREN AND SAW HER AND HER HUSBAND IN THE GROCERY STORE OCCASIONALLY AND SHE KEPT ME UP TO DATE ON HIM AND HER MOM, MARTHA. HE BECAME A CUSTOMER OF MINE AT MY SHOP, PETALS AND BOWS FLORIST. I WAS ALWAYS DELIGHTED WHEN HE CALLED OR CAME IN TO ORDER FLOWERS AND WE WOULD CHAT FOR A BIT. I WILL CERTAINLY MISS HIM AND WILL NEVER FORGET HIM. JUDY HATCHER WALL
