Obituary

Clinton Dixon (C.D.) Burr, Jr., 71, of North Chesterfield, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. He was born on October 9, 1953 in Richmond, Virginia to the late Clinton and Agnes Burr.

He is survived by his daughter, Kelly Lynn Burr; son, Kevin Matthew Burr and his wife, Stephanie; grandson, Marshall Burr; sister, Rebecca B. Green and her husband, Douglas; nieces, Anna Hirsch and Marissa Green; and nephew, Jacob Green. C.D. is also survived by his best friends Steve and Debbie Bragg.

He worked for NAPA for 30 years before retiring to go to work with Bragg Drywall for the remainder of his career. C.D. was an avid sports fan. He was an active member of the local stock car racing community, a lifelong supporter of the University of Richmond Football Program, and a longtime Richmond Renegades season ticket holder. He will be remembered for his dry wit and sense of humor.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 2, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, North Chesterfield, VA 23234. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
