Obituary

Ellis, Clyde E., 83, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 25, 2011. He was preceded in death by his wife, June Page Ellis; parents, Nancy Adams Ellis and Clyde Dewey Ellis; and brothers, Willie and Royce Ellis. He is survived by two sons, Clyde E. “Sonny” Ellis, Jr., and his wife, Lee H. Ellis, and Michael S. Ellis and his partner, Les Stutzman; grandson, Matthew E. Ellis; and sister, Anne E. Clements. Clyde retired from Wilson Trucking Company with over 30 years of service. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rte. 10). His funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park.

    There are no words that can express the tremendous loss to our family at losing Clyde.To say he was the most gentle and kind man is an understatement. As a child when I needed him, he provided both a stable home and fatherly love that continued all my life. I will love him forever. Lolly
