Curtis “Dale” Brooks, 58, of N. Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 16, 2019.  He is survived by his wife Lorrie Brooks; mother Judy Newby; two Sisters, Brenda Frank, Anna Marie Wilkins; daughter, Tiffany Mae Brooks; grandson, Jaden Cantor; best friends, Eric and Ginnie Willinger; and many nieces and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by his Father, Harry Ellis Brooks, Jr. Dale was a dedicated worker of Dupont with 38 years of service.  A celebration of Dale’s life will be held 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

    Corey and Ashley are so very sorryfor the loss of Dale. Our hearts go out to you all and our prayers are with you and going up for you all. I know Corey wishes he could be here for you and jaden tiff just know he is here in spirit with you guys through this tough time yall are facing.   4. I’m very sorry for your loss. Dale was a great man. One of a kind. Lorrie when Dale met you he lite up. His heart was filled with Much Love And Happiness. He was one of the few gentlemen left in the world. It’s going to take time . Just think about the Love you two shared.

I had the pleasure not just to work with Dale Which was a good honest person that I enjoyed over 19 years seeing and working at DuPont with one of the best union stewards. I also had the honor to work with his wonderful mom Judy.
