Obituary

Curtis “Dale” Brooks, 58, of N. Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 16, 2019. He is survived by his wife Lorrie Brooks; mother Judy Newby; two sisters, Brenda Frank and Anna Marie Wilkins; daughter, Tiffany Mae Brooks; grandson, Jaden Cantor; best friends, Eric and Ginnie Willinger; and many nieces and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by his father, Harry Ellis Brooks, Jr. Dale was a dedicated worker of Dupont with 38 years of service.

A celebration of Dale’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

    Dale had a personality that was unforgettable and I am glad to have made his acquaintance. May he rest in piece and prayers to the family.

  4. Dale was a great friend, I worked With him many years, He always had a good attitude and could get a laugh out anybody. The happiest I seen him is when told me ,I finally did it and married Lorrie. Dale will be missed by many friends. The Lord has my good friend now. Rest In Peace my brother
