Obituary

Daisy Mann St. Clair, 86, of North Chesterfield, VA went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 25, 2026. She was born on October 31, 1939, in Chesterfield, Virginia to the late Clifford and Nellie Mann. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Lillie Kite, Rosebud Kite, and Irise Shepperson.

Daisy is survived by her sons, Ronald Wayne St. Clair, Jr., Robert “Bubba” Raymond St. Clair (Tammy), Michael Linwood St. Clair (Carol), and Kirk Duncan St. Clair (Trisha); eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; sister, Violet Frith; and an abundant blessing of extended family.

Daisy was the matriarch and true center of her family. She lived her life in tradition, gathering, celebration and protection. She was the epitome of a strong-willed woman who made sure that her family never lacked anything they needed and much of what they wanted. Their happiness was hers, and their defeat was hers, as well. She loved deeply, fought hard for her loved ones, and kept her door open for anyone who needed an extra seat at her table.

She found joy in watching her four boys grow their families, as well as helped to raise their children. There was no lack of time or room for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Her home will forever be filled with memories for Friday family dinners, Sunday evening check-ins (and grandchildren pick-ups from their weekend stays), holidays with every table and chair in every room she could find, and New Year’s Eves that will go down in history.

She loved her sisters and their husbands and children like her own. They could often be found around her table, in heated UNO weekend games, on yearly family vacations to the Outer Banks, and on sister vacations to be envied. Her life was well loved and well lived.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, North Chesterfield, VA 23234. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Bridge Road, Chesterfield, VA 23832.
