Obituary

David Donald Fuller, Jr., 59, of Richmond, VA went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 18, 2024. He was born on August 8, 1964 in LaPlata, Maryland to David Donald Fuller, Sr. and Katherine Lusinda Allen.

David was preceded in death by his sisters, Pamela Sue Davis and Jacqueline Katina Allen.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 9 years, Lisa Marie Fuller; sons, John Gilroy and Anthony Gilroy; grandson, Abel James; niece, Dawn Marie Henderson; nephew, Thomas David Jones; mother, Katherine Lusinda Allen (Jack); brothers, Roger E. Allen, Sr. (Deborah), Robert S. Allen, Steven R. Kanode (Lisa), James “Jimmie” R. Kanode, and Mark David Fuller; and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

David was a carpenter and he loved to camp, fish, and talk. Everyone he talked to was his friend and he never met a stranger. David loved sports especially the Miami Dolphins football team. He was a beloved husband, son, brother, and Bumpy, he will greatly be missed by all who knew him.

His memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, North Chesterfield, VA 23234.

    I am so very sorry to learn about Davey’s passing. He was a wonderful man and always made me feel special. I can still hear him calling me Char Char. He will be missed.

    I am so sorry to hear of David’s passing. My heart goes out to you. I still see Davey as that cute little boy with the ear-to-ear grin and sparkle in his eye, and the sweet way he called me “Aunt Gloria” even though we weren’t really related. I’m sure Sam and Jenny will have some good times with him in heaven. Keeping you all in my prayers.
