DAVID WAYNE NETTLES
David Wayne Nettles, 76, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024. He was born on December 20, 1947 in York County, VA and later moved to Richmond, VA. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, James and Mildred Nettles.

He is survived by his wife, Maleata Nettles of Chesterfield, VA; four children: Marcia Langhorne (Steve-deceased) of Lyndhurst, NJ, Dwayne Nettles (Kim) Newport News, Alison Nettles, Lyndhurst, NJ, Danielle Nettles and Erin Hope, both of Hampton, VA, a step-daughter, Jemia Mason, Chesterfield, VA, five grandchildren, Xylina, Cierra, Sterling, Parah and Madison; two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Kai; father and mother-in-law, Minister Sam & Queen Mason; six sisters-in-law, Remonia Keys, Richmond, VA, Wanda Griffin, Stony Creek, VA, Terry Mabry (Curtis) Chesterfield, VA, Hortense Mason Walker (Donald) Dinwiddie, VA, Tarsha Candelaria (Jimmy) Chesterfield, VA, Marleeta Thompson, Richmond, VA; two brothers-in-law, Larry  Mason, Richmond, VA and Carlton Mason (Regina), Stony Creek, VA.

His wife Maleata (aka Canya) and children will receive relatives and friends starting at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2024, located at Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd., Chesterfield, VA immediately followed by the Memorial Ceremony at 12:00 p.m. Condolences may be left at www.morrissett.com.
