  1. Dear Family,
I want you to know that my thoughts & prayers are with you. I think y’all know I loved your mom very much. She was like a mom to me. I have so many good memories of her. From her taking me to buy my wedding dress. our trips to NC and a miriad of other times we spent together. I’m going to miss her so much. But I (we) need to remember that, if we’re saved, we will see her again in heaven. Praise God she is no longer suffering! Love & prayers to all of you.

Heaven with my mom (Jean). They are smiling on us all.
So sorry for your loss, she”ll never be forgotten.

Your Cousin , Gina Powell Johnson.

  3. May God’s grace be with you Debbie, Sylvia, Cindy, and Tami in this time of loss. Our loss is heaven’s gain, and I can only imagine the home coming that may be taking place with Granny Keen, and Uncle Tom and the rest. Uncle Bob wanted to come up, but will be unable to, but our hearts and minds will be with you.

Cherish your memories for your Mom, and God willing you will meet again.

    Many Blessings
    Bobby D. Powell

  5. Jenny Byrd says:

I am so sorry for the loss of Delia, your mother and grandmother. I know you will miss her so. I was so happy to be able to view her service on line. It was such a sweet service and a tribute to a life well-lived.
My prayers for comfort for all of the family.

Jenny Byrd (Aunt Luna-Granny Keene sister) was my mother. I live in Turkey, NC. I have fond memories of Delia when I was a little girl. She was three years older, and I wanted to be her age.
