Doris Elizabeth “D-Dot” Bailey, of North Chesterfield, age 80, went to be with our Lord and Savior Saturday July 12, 2025. She was preceded in death by her loving parents Boyd Sr. and Pearl Worley, her adoring brothers Boyd Jr. (Buddy) and Thomas Worley her beloved sisters Peggy Worley and Esther

“Cookie” Steinmetz and her faithful dogs Gideon and Harley. She is survived by her devoted husband of 38 years Dan Bailey, her sister Kitty Mills, her children Kris Wilson (Kevin), Michele Ford (Trey), Vince Wilson (Silvia), step-children Matt Bailey (Kim), Wendy Vega (Chris), her grandchildren Brandy Wilson-Seigler (Joe), Trey Ford (Amber), Hailey Bowman (Joseph), Cole Ford (Ashley), Caleb Soeun (Brittney), Celina Davis (John), Max Davis, Grace Bailey, Angie Castillo and her great grandchildren Attiana Wilson, Tresean Seigler, Ayden Ford, Maddy Ford, Jesper Bowman, Titus and Rebekah Soeun.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid bowler and bowled in a league with her mother and sisters for many years. She was a lifetime member of Bellwood Baptist Church. She worked for The Defense General Supply Center, Safeway and CDS Office Supply Co. throughout her years. Upon retirement she enjoyed scrap booking and spending time with family, friends and her beloved dog.

Her celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 28, 2025 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, North Chesterfield, VA 23234. The family invites you to join them for a reception following Doris’s celebration of life.
