Obituary

Doris Gentry Watson, 93, of Richmond, VA passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025. She was born on July 20, 1931 in Virginia to the late Raymond Oscar Gentry and Elsie Smith Gentry.

Doris is preceded in death by her loving husband, Clarence Alexander Watson Jr; brother, Jesse Gentry; sister, Gladys Wilkerson; and one great granddaughter.

Doris is survived by her daughters, Ramona Morrow (Kenneth) and Denise Burgess (Randall); granddaughters; Amanda, Jennifer, Lauren, Brittney, Karie, and Katie; and 10 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, North Chesterfield, VA 23234. A graveside service to follow at Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Bridge Road, Chesterfield, 23832.
