I will forever be grateful for the times spent with Aunt Doris. She was my inspiration in many life experiences. From “Desiderata” in my HS grad card to the Saturday getaways for the mountains and apple picking during my time as a single Mom. Seems no time ago that I was elbow deep in making applesauce. Strawberry picking was another favorite of mine and my boys. They were so fond of times spent with “Aunt Doris ”
Of course there was the must do visit to history museums so my boys were aware of what happened “in their area.”
At Mom’s visitation, it was so precious to see her and how she knew right away that my grandson was mine though he was in his late teens. She spent time loving on us and extended her “Come see me Deb Doo”.
Love you so much
