Obituary

Edward LeRoy Brewster, “Ed”, 58 of Chesterfield, owner of JMW Motorsports RC Cars, found peace on March 22, 2021 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Nauman Brewster Jr.: brothers, John Milton Brewster (Johnny) and Harold Nauman Brewster III (Snooks). He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Kathy “Honey” Brewster; son, Edward Jeremy Brewster; daughters, Magen Rose Healey and Dawn Driskill; mother, Patsy Stargardt; grandchildren Nya Madison Driskill and Bryce Driskill; sister, Becky Doyle (Jeff), sister-in-law Dana Sikon (Rick), brother-in-law, Randy Quesenberry and numerous extended family members including those that he welcomed into his life, you were no longer just a friend, you were family.

Ed never met a stranger he wouldn”™t help. He would give anyone the shirt off his back, and we know on multiple occasions, he probably did. Everybody received a nickname whether they liked it or not and it usually stuck. He was always such a cool dad, an eccentric character, a badass with huge heart, and a mullet. He was fearless, and kind, and incredibly strong both physically and mentally. He was a good dad and would break his back to give us anything we needed. He was a fun and charismatic party animal. He loved to have a good time, and he made sure everyone else had a good time as well. “I love you man” was said often and meant. He created his own language of “Ed-isms”. A couple of examples: Something making you mad, he’d ask, “Do you got a grump?”, something weighing on your mind, “what’s racking your package?” He impacted so many people”™s lives and was loved by everyone he encountered. He never judged a soul. He loved to cook. If you were hungry, you were fed. He could take one lone porkchop and create a pot of soup that fed everybody. He has had a long hard life, but he never let anything get him down. He lived life on his terms and made no apologies for it because he didn’t have too. He was who he wanted to be. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Foundation of Truth Ministry, P.O. Box 4753 Midlothian, Virginia 23112.
