Obituary
Eleanore “Lee” Lundy, 85, of Chesterfield County, passed away June 20, 2022 surrounded by loved ones.
Lee was born May 26, 1937 to Delia and William Bixby in Syracuse, NY. She attended Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Darby, Pennsylvania and worked as a Registered Nurse for many years. Lee was a longtime parishioner of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Petersburg, Virginia and was active in the Southwest Senior Citizens Association.
Lee was predeceased by her parents and her daughter, Karen Roberta. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert (“Bob”), her children, Patricia Curley (Richard Curley Jr.), Joan Dallas (David Dallas), Anne Hudson (Robert Hudson), and Janet Lundy (Mark Ryan), her grandchildren Richard Curley III, Benjamin Dallas, and Olivia Hudson, and her brother William Bixby, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 10-11:00 a.m. at Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, N. Chesterfield, VA on Wednesday, June 29th. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Southwest Senior Citizens Association, 425 Worth St., Richmond, VA 23225.
