Obituary
Emily Mazelle Vick Amos, 94, of Richmond, VA died at Chippenham Hospital and went to meet the Lord on Thursday, August 14th, 2025. There will be no more pain and suffering. Rest in peace. She was born in South Hampton County, VA and survived by her daughter, Sandra Amos Daniel Kidwell and one sister, Rose Ann Martin. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Milton C. Amos, Jr.; grandson, Nathan E. Daniel; father, Luther B. Vick; mother, Gladys Taylor; stepmother, Clara Belle Vick; and four brothers: Raymond Vick, Samuel Vick, Luther B. Vick Jr., and Charlie M. Vick, and one sister, Bernice Westerman. She attended Berean Baptist Church and loved her church family. She is remembered for her love and devotion to her family and the fur-babies. Emily enjoyed tinkering in her yard and loved flowers of all kinds, especially roses. She loved her home and took pride in it. She enjoyed taking short trips and dining out with her daughter. Emily retired from Phillip Morris after many years of dedicated service. She will be greatly missed and loved by all who knew her. She is reunited with the love of her life, her husband, and grandson who she cherished.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Ironbridge Road, (Route 10), North Chesterfield, VA 23234. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 21 at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive, Sandston VA 23150.

My dearest Sandra we knew it would one day come.Her passing is something we are never prepared for.
I also know that she was ready she had a great life,filled with love from so many.She is now with the love of her life, and many others. out of all of our family I will always remember your Mother and Dad. They showed me love and concern, like and mother and Dad could,since mine passed away. I loved her dearly and I will miss my calls with her. My scripture for you and your Momma Psalms 23, Psalms 121.
