Obituary

Ernest R. Ouellette, 85, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 1, 2019. He is survived by his children, Kenneth Tate (Marilyn), Linwood Tate, Donna Lehman (Michael), Brenda Keener, Anthony Ouellette, and Christopher Ouellette; 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and numerous other family members. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 29 years, Evelyn Ouellette. Ernest proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was an honored Korean War Veteran and Purple Heart recipient. After his service in the war, he remained with the Army Reserves for 26 years. He worked at Allied Chemical, where he later retired after 41 years of service. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rte. 10). His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Dale Memorial Park.
