Obituary

Everett Rhoten Sr., 88, passed away on August 3, 2022. He was born January 1, 1934 to Milburn and Lucy (Clark) Rhoten. Everett joined the Army, then transferred to the Air Force in the Second Infantry Division in the Korean War (1950-1951). Everett was a reverend and a gardener, enjoying apple trees and red roses. He also enjoyed bird-watching, the mountains, hunting and fishing. Above all, he loved his family and Jesus Christ.

Everett is preceded in death by his parents, Milburn and Lucy; daughter, April Rhoten; and grandson, Ian Nathaniel White. Left to cherish his memory include his children, Rebecca Pearson (David), Everett Rhoten Jr., and Jacob Rhoten (Georgia); grandchildren, Dylan, Sabastian, Johnny, Christopher, Dakota, Cindy, Sara, Destiny, Zachary, Mackenzie, Nathan, Maria, and Nathanael.

Visitation will be 12pm Thursday, August 11th, at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road in N. Chesterfield. A service will follow at 1pm in the chapel with interment following at Dale Memorial Park.

    Thought and prayers are with you and your family in the loss of your father. A life well lived is a precious gift. May you find comfort in remembering someone so special. We were blessed to know him as a caring and thoughtful neighbor.
