Obituary

Francis “Frank” William Jenkins, Sr., 77, of Chesterfield, VA entered his eternal rest on Sunday, June 21, 2026. He was born on June 2, 1949 in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Francis T. Jenkins and Sarah A. Jenkins.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Lynda L. Jenkins; sons, Francis W. Jenkins, Jr. (Christina), Marc E. Jenkins (Dawn), and Michael J. Jenkins (Kelly); grandchildren, Blake, Jordan, Cullen, and Riley; brother-in-law, Norman L. Oldford (Donna), and extended family members and friends.

Frank was a hardworking and devoted family man who found joy in the simple things that meant the most to him. He loved his animals and cared for them with a special kindness and affection. Frank took great pride in his work at the car dealership, where he enjoyed helping customers and building friendships with coworkers over the years. In his free time, he was an avid fan of professional wrestling and rarely missed an opportunity to watch his favorite matches and wrestlers. Some of his happiest memories were made during family vacations to Myrtle Beach, where he treasured spending time with his loved ones, relaxing by the ocean. Frank will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and the love he shared with those around him.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a service following immediately at 5:00 p.m.  on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, North Chesterfield, VA 23234. A private interment will take place at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.
