Obituary

Franco B. Garcia Lopez, 39, of Chesterfield, VA went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 1, 2026. He was born on October 27, 1986 in San Diego, California to Angelica Garcia Lopez and Kenneth Earl Brown.

Franco is survived by his mother, Angelica Garcia Lopez.

Franco fue un nino mucho muy inteligente, atleta, curioso amable y buena gente con todos.

Empezo a jugar golf a los 12 anos cuando una bola de beisbol le pego en la pierna y dijo, “no mas juego beisbol”.

Empezo a jugar golf despues de tomar lecciones de un golfista y de su coach, Mr. Brown in San Diego, CA.

Despues empezo a jugar competitively en San Diego Jr. Golf Association. Viajo a diferentes ciudades por todos los EEUU participando en direntes torneos al nivel amateur.  Jugo en Westfield Jr. Golf Tournament, Pebble Beach, y varios otros campos de golf.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 29, 2026 at Branch’s Baptist Church, 3400 Broad Rock Blvd, Richmond, VA 23234. Interment to follow at Branch’s Baptist Church Cemetery.
