Please enjoy the following poem written by Gary himself

Looking at this card I am longingly

Given to Lonely but in Linda’s honor

The Queens English Rhyme

Wherever in the creator’s realm we shall go

Wherever it may be

Please allow us to continue our love

On our sandy shore by the sea

Let us have starry nights

When the sky is twinkling bright

Then the stars drift to our shady shore

To sparkle in the sun for hours or more

These happy time we shall upon reflect

And I’m sure no one would object

For it is fast approaching four of the clock

And what better way to silently continue

This rhyme with a soothing steaming cup at teatime

But smiling into each other’s face and eyes

And holding on to each other forever…..

  1. Teri, When you think of your dad, remember all of the great time, at the beach, at Kings Dominion, camping in the mountains or just laughing and joking on the couch. Your mom and dad were so awesome and always ready to make things better. They both have changed my life and I am sure they are together again singing the Hawaiian love song to each other as they did in the pool at night.

I was shocked and very much saddened to read (just today) of Gary’s passing. I knew when my Christmas Card to him was returned just now, that it was not good news. Gary was a true gentleman and a friend. He would come to my home in Leesburg and help me set up a Standard Electric master clock system, after he had set up all of my buildings in Northen Virginia with a Standard Electric clock system. His daughter Teri would accompany him to the house at times and we always had a good laugh and a good time between the three of us. He loved my famous “tuna melts” that I would make him for lunch when he spent the entire day at the house trying to get a Master Clock or some of the other Standard Electric clocks to work properly. I never once saw Gary angry or ill-tempered. He was kind, generous and very patient and he loved to laugh. I always wondered how he did it. I will miss him terribly.
