Obituary

Gayle Marshall Conner, 83, of Chesterfield, VA went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 25, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband David “Teet” Garrett Conner; parents, William and Dorothy Marshall; brother, Joseph Clarence Marshall; sister, Nancy Marshall Pulley; and granddaughter, Courtney Beahr. Gayle is survived by her twins, David Conner (Marcia) and Donna Lythgoe (George); daughter, Wendy Pond (Lindsey); son, Johnny (Chrissy); grandchildren, Garrett (Kim), Chelsea (Matt), Dustin (Katie), Dylan (Bridget), David (Kaitlyn), Tyler (Casey), Hayden, and Camdyn (Hunter); great grandchildren, Conner, Cassidy, Marshall, Kingsley, Harper, Maddox, McCoy and Kara, brother, Tommy Marshall (Faye); and sister, Sheila Byrd. The family will receive guests from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, January 8 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd., N. Chesterfield, VA 23234. Gayle’s funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 9 at the Morrissett Chapel. Interment to follow at Dale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
