Back in March of 2005, Gene Watson offered me a job as a member of a survey field crew. Today, I am a licensed Land Surveyor in Virginia. Gene gave me my start in this field which I have come to make a career out of. Gene will always share a special place in my life because of that. I hadn’t seen or spoken to Gene in years. My condolences to his wife and family. I saw Maxine and Brenda at the office on Bonniebank from time to time and he and his family were always kind and polite to me. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
