Obituary

George Wesley Elliott, 82, of North Chesterfield, VA went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. He was born in Richmond, VA to the late Paul Austin and Susie Minnie Elliott. He is also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 46 years, Nancy Lucille Elliott; two sisters, Jean Sprouse, and Kitty Mae Jones; three brothers, Richard Elliott, Ralph Cole Elliott, and Billy Elliott.

George loved spending time with family and friends. He especially enjoyed fishing, taking a walk with his dog in the park, and growing his beautiful flowers. George was an adventurous individual who loved to take long rides and scenic trips. He was a member of IBEW local 666 for over 40 years. George was a faithful servant of the Lord.

He is survived by his two sons, Tracy L. Elliott (Pamela), Terry Wayne Elliott (Bonnie); two daughters, Tammy K. Saunders, Teresa Gail Elliott; two grandsons, Joey Martin, Travis Williams (Jaymee); granddaughter, Cara Raines; great-grandson, Kolten Williams; two Sisters, Betty Lou Patton, Sue Patton (Paul); brother, Donnie Austin Elliott (Mary); precious little girl and faithful companion, Cindy-Lou; and many extended friends and family.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, North Chesterfield, VA 23234. Following the Service, a graveside will take place at Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 West Hundred Road, Chester, VA 23831. Family will receive friends and family on Sunday, December 4, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
