Mr Epps was a good and kind man. I remember one day he came by the house to talk to me about something and
saw a good size dead oak tree . I told him I had been meaning to cut it down but it was kinda close to the tar road and wasn’t to sure of my tree felling abilities. He said let’s do it I’ll help you. We got down without incident. That’s the type of man he was . Barbara and Wayne and the rest of the family, I know you will miss him but I also know you have some good memories. Keep them close to your heart and smile when you think of him. Remember John 3:16 . We will see him again.

Oh Barbara! We are so sorry to hear of your precious Gerald’s passing. Knowing that he is with his Lord and Savior is a comfort, I’m sure, but that doesn’t take away the pain of losing him after all these years. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. In HIS love…Judi and Wayne

Gerald was one of a kind! He is going to be truly missed! My heart is broken. This has been a shock to us especially since mama passed. Gerald would always come by and I would have his coffee ready! He would sit and talk with daddy and mama. I’ve known y’all since I was 2. He wasn’t just a friend he was family. We are keeping y’all in our thoughts and prayers.
