Obituary

Williams, Grace Beatrice, 89, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 6, 2010. She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Gary L. Williams, Sr.; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and John Guy; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Rebecca Williams, and Richard and Cynthia Williams; a sister, Beulah Wayne; brother Virgil Mercer; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Grace was a devoted wife and mother to her family. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles to pass the time. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm Monday at Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Road (Rte. 10). A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. The family suggests donations to God’s Storehouse Baptist Church, 5007 Jessup Rd., Richmond, VA 23234.

    Dad and I ar so deepley saddened to hear about Aunt Grace’s passing. She was a wonderful and beautiful soul and we are all loved her dearly. She was such a fine christian lady and we know she is up in heaven now with the rest of our loved ones celebrating eternity with the Lord. May God bless yall and know that we will be praying for ya Uncle Billy in the days and months ahead.

  3. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Grace was a wonderful person and we are going to miss her very much. She was always so much fun to be with and talk to. We will always have the wonderful memories of her to remember.

  5. Although I have not seem my great Aunt in some time, I will never forget her cheery spirit and wonderful laugh. She truely was a ray of sunshine. Thoughts and prayers are are with the family.
