Obituary

A special angel, Hazel Marie Patterson, was born on December 13, 1941 and she returned to be with the Lord on February 11, 2022. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert B. Patterson; her children, Julie Jarman (Tracy), Robert Patterson (Dawn), Jimmy Patterson (Ami), Roberta Pritchard (David) and Daniel Clark (Peewee); stepson, Robert Ramsey (Eddie); grandchildren Nevaeh and Betty Jarman, Kristopher Dolan, Alyssa, Devon, Mia and Elijah Patterson, Sammuel  “Sam” Pritchard and Hannah Osborne; step grandchildren, Jennifer and Jessica McClimon; sisters and brothers Brenda Ramsey, Ronda Ramsey, Priscilla Riddle (Bill), Lisa Cash, Clarence Ramsey (Bubba), Glen “Denny” Ramsey (Dolly) and Connie Lipscomb (a niece whom Hazel helped raise); cousins, nieces and nephews; special friends Brother Lloyd Walls and family, Sheila Rosenson, Lisa Glass (Hazel thought of her as a daughter), Jennifer and David Strother and family.  She is preceded in death by her son, Robert B. Patterson, Jr.; granddaughter, Krystal Cheyenne Jarman; her parents, Harry and Julia Ramsey; her brothers and sisters, Berley Clark, Wayne Ramsey (Bounty), Cassie Southers, Donald Ramsey, Rebecca Gallimore (Becky), Billy Ramsey, Jeffrey Ramsey and Warren Ramsey (Skippy).  She was like a second mom to all of her brothers and sisters.  She was one of a kind and will be missed by so many.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road North Chesterfield, VA 23234.  Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 1:00p.m. at Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ, 3137 Walmsley Blvd. North Chesterfield, VA 23234. Her Graveside Service will follow at Dale Memorial Park.
