Obituary

Craig, Henry M., 73, of N. Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 8, 2026. He is survived by his son, Andrew R. Craig (Nicole); brother, D. Wayne Craig (Robin); sister, Charlotte L. Green; granddaughter, Grace L. Craig; nephews, Josh Craig and Chris Anthony; and nieces Rachel Green, Tina Foster, and Caitlin Adams. Henry was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Victoria E. Craig and parents, Robert C. Craig and Helen E. Craig. Henry was born on March 2, 1952 in Richmond, VA. After Henry graduated from Meadowbrook High School in 1970, he joined his father in a career at American Machine and Foundry (AMF) where he remained for nearly 30 years. In 1975, Henry met Victoria Craig near his home in Richmond, VA when her car broke down on the side of the road. Henry and Victoria married on August 6, 1977. In 1978, they purchased a home in North Chesterfield and went on to welcome Andrew Craig in 1987. Henry maintained a lifelong passion for cars and small engine repair that he turned into a second career as an automotive mechanic following AMF. In 2012, Henry retired and spent his time with family, friends, and fixing anything that may be broken for members of his community. He was a faithful member of Heritage Baptist Church for nearly 50 years. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Heritage Baptist Church, 7777 Cogbill Rd. His funeral service will be held 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Heritage Baptist Church. Interment to follow at Dale Memorial Park.
