Obituary
Henry D. Barksdale, Jr., 59, of Chesterfield, VA passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jordan Barksdale; mother, Sylvia Barksdale; father, Henry Barksdale, Sr.; stepmother, Peggy Barksdale; brother, Steve Barksdale; and nephew, Jared Belton. Henry is survived by his wife, Staci Barksdale; son, Henry “Ryan” Barksdale; sister, Donna Rice; stepsister, Vickie Gouldman; stepbrother, Edward Davis; and niece, Celeste Caveness. Henry was a devoted member of the Buck Only Hunt Club and enjoyed spending time there with family and friends. A visitation for Henry will be held from 12:00-1:00 pm with his funeral service starting at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 8 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd., N. Nick & I are so very sorry for your loss! We are saying prayers for peace, and I hope it gives you comfort knowing Henry is with our beloved Jordan! We will miss him so very much!! He will forever live on in our wonderful Fun Cabin memories!

Ryan and Staci and the entire Barksdale family, I’m so sorry for your loss. I will always remember and cherish the time we all spent together at CCS, Southside and the hunt club. Henry was always incredibly nice and fun to hang out with as all of you were too. He will be truly missed. I know he is reunited with Jordan now. God bless

Henry was my friend for many years and ended up living just around the corner. His first true love, always has been, and forever will be, is Staci. His beautiful family has been shattered recently. My heart goes out. So saddened.
