Obituary
Isaiah Tayvon Jackson, 26, of Chesterfield, Virginia, peacefully entered eternal rest with the Lord on Friday, May 22, 2026. Born on December 5, 1999, in Fort Hood, Texas, Isaiah was the cherished son of Shalonda L. Freeman and Corey Lane.
He is survived by his devoted parents, Shalonda L. Freeman and Corey Lane (Michelle); his treasured sons, Ahmere Tayvon Bolden and Kyree Kiziah Jackson; his loving sisters, Sharie Freeman and Aaliyah Lane; and his brothers, TaCoreyon and JaCobeyon Lane. Isaiah also leaves behind his maternal grandparents, Debra Webb and Ezra C. Jones; his paternal grandparents, Aloise Lane and Henry Watts; his godfather, Anthony Bell (Janet); as well as a host of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Isaiah will be remembered as a beloved son, a caring brother, a proud father, and a hardworking individual whose presence brought warmth and brightness wherever he went. After graduating high school, Isaiah answered the call to serve this country by joining the U.S. Navy Reserve in the Seabees program. There, he cultivated the discipline, resilience, and unwavering “can do” spirit that shaped his life.
Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and gifted with skilled hands, Isaiah spent years working with construction and home improvement companies as a CDL driver. He eventually channeled his talents into launching several businesses—ranging from unique clothing lines to ventures in home improvement. However, what mattered most to Isaiah was his role as a father. He was endlessly proud of his two sons, whom he loved deeply and worked tirelessly to inspire and support.
Those who knew Isaiah would fondly recall his radiant smile, generous heart, and steadfast determination. The memories Isaiah leaves behind will continue to uplift and encourage all who were fortunate enough to know him.
