  1. Pasty, Jimmy, David, Ann & Betty Jo,
Uncle James was a loving, caring & thoughtful man. He always tried to stay in touch with the family after daddy passed away. I didn’t know he had moved out of his home until I stopped getting Christmas Cards from him & Aunt Betty Jo. I had ask a family member about it & was told he had moved. I tried to get his new address but nobody had it. That was a few years ago. Then he passed away & I found out what happen, we lost touch, now I know how to get up with family. We will stay in touch & make plans to see one another. I wish I could be there with you all at this time but it’s going to be later when I get to see y’all. I miss him & Aunt Betty Jo. But knowing he is not in pain anymore makes me feel better. He gone to be with his mother, father & brothers. They all in Heaven looking down smiling on all of us. RIP Uncle James until we meet again. Y’all are in my prayers & thoughts. God be with you all & help y’all Thur this time. Love always Betty Deaver Long

  2. Mr. Deaver and Sam were old friends and shared funny, memorable stories and sayings from their bachelor days and fishing trips. He was always a gentleman to me and genuinely enjoyed hearing about our boys lives. I’ll always remember he and Betty Jo visiting us after each was born bringing a special gift. He served his country in WWII and we offer our thanks to him for that service. The Waldron family will miss Mr. Deaver and we all will remain grateful we had the opportunity to know him.

  3. My sincere condolence too Mr.James’ Deaver’s family . I remember his mother, Pearl. Pearl was my mother s first cousin. (Hettie Edwards Evers.)
