Obituary

Munford, James Edward “Ed” Fuzzy, 54, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on May 29, 2010. Mr. Munford was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who was an avid fan of NASCAR, golf, and many other sports. He worked for 38 years in the sheet metal business at Whitley Service/Roofing Company. He is survived by his wife, Janice W. Munford; daughter, Michele M. and her husband Christopher (Buddy) Patton; sons, Christopher R. Munford and Donald E. Jenkins; grandchildren, Tyler D. Patton, Elizabeth M. Jenkins, Josephine-Renee Munford, Olivia G. Jenkins, and Kaylee R. Munford; a devoted cat, Miss Maggie Mae Munford; sisters, Florence Smith, Marion West, Margaret Anderson (Jerry), Barbara Sanford, Peggy Culpepper (Dennis); brother, George Munford (Joan). The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and from 6 to 8 pm at Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd (Rt. 10). A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Dale Memorial Park.   1. Michele,Although it is hard right now, I hope that you will find comfort in the knowledge that your dad is no longer in pain. He will continue to be by your side. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

  2. Michele, I am so sorry to learn of your Dad’s passing. He loved each of you,(Tyler & Buddy) and you all shared so much with him, especially in NASCAR.
    Tyler I know this is hard for you, just know you always have the great memories of him to live on.
