Obituary

Piacentini, James H., 78, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 28, 2007. He is survived by his beloved wife, Anna May Piacentini; daughters and sons-in-law, Anna Marie P. and Charles D. Dunford, Jr., Bridget Ann P. and Keith Meador; son, Arthur R. Piacentini; grandchildren, Aimee and Emilee Piacentini, Chad Dunford, Laura Meador Mooney, Kurtis Meador II; sisters, Margaret Stone, Helen Inez Grubbs; brothers, Fred Thomas Piacentini, Sr., Arthur J. Piacentini. James was a U.S. Army Korean Conflict veteran and a retiree of J. W. Ferguson & Sons. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday at Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rte. 10). His funeral service will be held 11 am on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Dale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Blvd. Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852.

  1. May May, I’m so sorry for the loss of Uncle Jimmy. I love both of you very much. Uncle Jimmy was my favorite uncle, and I’m going to miss him a lot. I’m sorry we haven’t been able to spend more time together. I always enjoyed all the summers I came to stay with you when I was younger.
    May God’s peace be with you, and Anne Marie, Arthur and Bridget. I love you all.
