Obituary
James “Jimmy” Edward Horning, on Saturday, January 16, 2021 of N. Chesterfield, VA on his 90th birthday he went to be with the Lord. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Ayers Horning; parents, Crosslyn and Mary Horning; son, Edward “Eddie” Wayne Horning; and siblings, Tommy Horning & Joyce Adkinson. Jimmy is survived by his children, Robert “Bob” John Horning (Barbara) and Sheryl Horning Mahler; stepdaughter, Patricia Marie Bickley; siblings Glen Horning (Nancy), Jerry Horning (Jerri), Evelyn Butler, and Dolores Smith. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Friends may visit from 12:00-1:00 pm with his funeral service starting at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 29 at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd., N. Chesterfield, VA 23234. Interment to follow at Dale Memorial Park.
